Job Summary
- Practice medicine within the scope of license training and credentialing
- Practice medicine in accordance with the current standards of care
- Practice medicine in accordance with the quality criteria adopted by the Medical Staff Bylaws
- Promote a safety-conscious workplace
- Evaluate and follow up with patients
- Complete patient charting and all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Participate in the development and/or review of office policies and support the Practice Manager in their duties
- Demonstrate the ability to assess plan implement and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of the patients served by demonstrating a strong working knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span
- Communicate appropriately with the person served regardless of age
- Attend required hospital-wide orientations meetings and in-services
- Demonstrate a commitment to flexible work scheduling when necessary to ensure patient care
- Reports to: CRMG Practice Administrator and/or Supervising Practice Physician
- Minimum Required Education: Graduation from an accredited Physicians Assisting program with successful completion of the National Certifying Examination administered by the National Commission of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with successful completion of the National Certifying Examination.
- Preferred Education: Not applicable
- Experience: 2 years as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is preferred
