Nurse Practitioner I Splty NICU Venice

Location:Sarasota Memorial Hospital 2600 Laurel Road East North Venice

Work Hours: (7) 24 hour shifts in 2 weeks. Must be within 30 minutes from the hospital.

**$30000 Sign on Bonus for those candidates that qualify and have 3 years of Level III or IV NICU APP experience**

The neonatal nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant is an advanced practice provider who demonstrates expertise in the clinical management of the neonate and infant. The provider role is multi-faceted and includes clinical management of the high-risk neonate and infant educational responsibilities administrative duties consulting and initiating/implementing research. The neonatal nurse provider works in collaboration with medical nursing and support services to provide family centered care. The neonatal nurse provider maintains active participation in his/her own continued education and professional development.

Requirements:

• Clinical Masters Degree in Nursing or DNP Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
• Current Florida State Licensure as APRN or a PA.
• Current BLS and PALS (NRP in lieu of PALS if NNP).
• Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse/Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or PA.
• Current National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a PA.
• Requires 3 years of Level III or greater NICU APP experience.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.58/hour - Maximum 83.05/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
