SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Join a high-performing hospitalist team where collaboration support and excellence in patient care come first. Were seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our dynamic inpatient team on the night shift a role that offers autonomy strong teamwork and meaningful impact when patients need us most.

Our night shift APPs play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient-centered care in a supportive environment where leadership is accessible engaged and invested in your success. Youll work alongside experienced physicians and fellow APPs who value open communication mutual respect and seamless collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

1. Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Hospitalist nurse practitioners perform physical exams review medical histories and development preliminary diagnoses. They are responsible for ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab results. They will assist with managing issues overnight on medical floors assist with Codes/Rapid responses and occasionally with admissions.

2. Treatment and Medication Management: Nurse practitioners in this role prescribe medications formulate treatment plans and perform minor procedures. They also coordinate care with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

3. Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Hospitalist nurse practitioners work closely with hospitalists nurses and other healthcare staff to provide comprehensive care and streamline communication among the care team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Masters degree in Nursing
• Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by State of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Minimum of 2 years of experience
