Pay Rate: $100$120/Hour

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a Hematology/Oncology team. The ideal candidate will have prior oncology experience and a strong inpatient clinical background. This role involves collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care treatment planning and patient education.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
Collaborate with attending physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Evaluate diagnose and manage patients within the approved scope of practice.
Document patient encounters accurately and timely within the EMR.
Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses treatments and disease management.
Utilize prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
Deliver high-quality care to acute care patients with minimal supervision.
Current New York State Nurse Practitioner License and Registration.
NP specialty certification consistent with practice area.
Minimum one (1) year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
Prior inpatient experience preferred.
Medicare NPI number or eligibility to obtain one.
Current CPR and ACLS Certifications.
Strong communication interpersonal and patient care skills.
Ability to complete pre-employment health clearance requirements.
Previous Hematology/Oncology or Oncology experience strongly preferred.
Experience in acute care or hospital-based settings.
