Nurse Practitioner ED IHS Crownpoint, NM

Title: Nurse Practitioner Emergency Department (any state license is ok)

Place of Work: Crownpoint Healthcare Facility Crownpoint NM
(May include satellite clinics Thoreau or Pueblo Pintado Health Clinics)

Will be assigned to the any one of the facility

Start Date: 1 to 2 Months

Shift Hours: 8 12 hour shifts typically between 8:30 AM 9:00 PM; including weekends and holidays

How many shifts needed per month: Approximately 15 17 shifts per month based on coverage requirements

License: Active unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license from any U.S. state or territory

Experience needed: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Emergency or Ambulatory Care settings

Certifications: BLS. ACLS DEA AANP or FNCP - Required. PALS - preferred

Special Skills needed:

• Skilled in managing diabetes hypertension and other chronic conditions
• Competent in minor procedures (suturing splinting I&D)
• Proficient in triage and urgent care assessments
• Strong charting and EHR documentation (RPMS)
• Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff

Credentialing / Onboarding time: Estimated 6 8 weeks.

Responsibilities:
Provide acute and chronic care in the Fast Track Emergency Department and outpatient clinics manage same-day appointments perform minor procedures and document patient care accurately in RPMS. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality culturally sensitive patient care.
