Position Summary
ANeonatal Nurse Practitioneris an advanced practice registered nurse (ARNP) who specializes inthe care of newborns typically up to one month of are specialists in the evaluation management and resuscitation of newbornsincluding those with complicated medical Provide routine and emergent care to newbornsConduct routine newborn examsPerform resuscitations on newborns with both expected and unexpected complications Monitor the health of the baby after childbirthPrescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as with OB-GYNs pediatricians and other healthcare parents on newborn accurate and detailed medical for holistic patient-centered care and support newborn healthDocument all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care. RequirementsRegistered Nurse (RN) license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (ARNP) license in Washington completion of an accredited neonatal nurse practitioner programCurrent active Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Core Board CertificationClinical experience in neonatal evaluation and interpersonal communication and decision-making credentials and privileges as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at Capital Medical CenterDEA NPI & Prescriptive authorityCurrent BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart AssociationAbout Capital Medical Center

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package including competitive salary medical dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $172452.80 - $172452.80 USD. However pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants including but not limited to: skill set level of experience and certification(s) and/or education.
