Position Details:

Nurse Manager of Med-Surg- Irving TX

Location : 6800 N. McArthur Blvd. Irving TX 75039

Project Duration : Full time/ Permanent

Shift Timing : Days No Weekends

Salary : $40.79 - $61.19

Sign-On Bonus : $15000

Job Summary:

• You will be responsible for the 24/7 leadership of all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission vision and strategic goals.
• You will ensure alignment of all systems to support the business of the department taking into account business trends while focusing on people services and financial stewardship.
• You will establish effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients families physicians peers and other departments to move the organization forward.
• You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational oversight of the department including but not limited to payroll hiring counseling mentoring/coaching scheduling orientation competency validation of new and existing staff and annual evaluations.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in nursing required.

LICENSURE:

• Texas State RN or RN Compact License acceptable under eNLC guidelines.

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous recent Department Director or Manager experience required will also a strong CNC looking to step into a Manager role.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care Med/Surg experience required
