POSITIONSUMMARY
Managing a busy Geriatric Mental Health Unit is so rewarding.As the nursing leader within a strong clinicalteam you support the Director of Nursing in planning organizing developingand directing the day-to-day functions of your team.
Educationand Experience
Education: Must possess as aminimum a State of Maine Nursing license
Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and experience sufficient to perform allduties with excellence
Skillsand Abilities
- Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records and/or solid computer skills
- Strong communication skills both in writing and verbally
- Effective leadership skills and/or ability to invest in growing this skill
- Read write speak and understand the English language.
Certificatesand Licenses
- Possess a diploma AS or BS degree in nursing.
- Must be currently registered/licensed in Maine.
- Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
