About the Opportunity

As the Nurse Manager Med Surg/Telemetry you will provide operational clinical and people leadership for a dynamic inpatient unit. You will collaborate with physicians nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences strong clinical outcomes regulatory compliance and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor nursing staff to foster a culture of accountability teamwork and excellence
• Oversee daily operations staffing scheduling and patient flow
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety outcomes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory accreditation and organizational standards
• Manage departmental budgets productivity and resource utilization
• Support staff development coaching and succession planning
• Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN License
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Basic EKG/Telemetry Interpretation experience (or ability to complete training within six months)
• Minimum two years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge Nurse Supervisor or Leadership experience
• Masters Degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field
• Proven success leading teams and driving operational improvements
