Nurse

 Essential Duties/Functions:

• Provide medical support to preschool-aged children some with significant disabilities and medical needs attending the Approved Private School.
• Manage student documentation providing appropriate medical care and medication administration as well as coordinating with staff in the program.
• Administer first aid and illness assessment emergency care when needed administering medications completing feedings and other medically necessary procedures.
• Consult with staff members as well as administration coordinating with private duty nurses maintaining medical records assisting families with medical questions and medical documentation needed and other duties as needed.
• Communicate with other staff students and parents to address any medical or safety concerns.

Non-essential Duties/Functions:

• Perform other related administrative tasks on occasion.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Job Requirements:

• Pennsylvania RN or LPN license required.
• Experience in seizure management as well as experience with all aspects of tube feeding required.
• Prior work experience with children with special needs preferred.
• School-based experience a plus.
• Adult Child & Infant CPR and First Aid Certifications required.
• Excellent documentation as well as written and verbal communication skills required.
• Complete all clearances as required.
