Nurse .40 FTE ( District Wide)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse
• Minimum of two years supervised nursing experience in community health or child health
• Certified in CPR

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Provide coverage throughout district schools when nursing staff are absent
2. Assess and evaluate the students health
3. Provide emergency care in case of injury or sudden illness
4. Provide information as necessary on frequently encountered health problems such as: child neglect and abuse drug use and abuse human nutrition and adolescent pregnancy
5. Provide required health service for school personnel.
6. Provide for personal care needs of physically handicapped pupil as required in their educational plans

Principal and/or other Supervisor

SALARY:

$19016 in accordance with teachers contract
