The nuclear Medicine technologist provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment. He/she has the advanced skills to perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures computer processing of data and other technical tasks necessary to produce images for the interpretation by and at the request of a licensed practitioner. He/she exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while providing appropriate care essential for successful completion of procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
- Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months experience during the last year or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.
