Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) who is a self-starter enjoys working independently and is committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a Cardiac Stress Technician in a collaborative mobile healthcare environment delivering high-quality nuclear cardiology services.
This position follows a consistent weekday schedule with no nights weekends on-call responsibilities or holiday shifts.

No nights weekends on-call or holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional and perfusion rest and stress cardiac studies including image processing for physician interpretation.
  • Follow established policies and procedures related to quality control equipment operation examination protocols radiation safety isotope calibration transportation and dose ordering.
  • Start IVs using aseptic technique.
  • Administer prescribed radiopharmaceuticals and medications in accordance with national standards and established protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal state and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic testing.
  • Perform daily quality control checks and equipment calibrations maintaining required documentation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety policies and guidelines for handling radioactive materials.
  • Accurately document patient histories test results and required information within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Assist with mobile imaging operations including loading unloading transporting setting up and dismantling imaging equipment and medical supplies.
  • Properly dispose of medical waste according to applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to vehicle usage and daily operations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients and healthcare partners.
  • Travel to assigned healthcare facilities as scheduled while safely operating a company vehicle and following all applicable transportation and radiation safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification or successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program with pending certification.
  • Active state licensure if required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to push and pull medical equipment as part of a team.
  • Valid drivers license.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in outpatient imaging centers hospitals clinics and physician offices with moderate to high patient volumes. The role includes travel to multiple healthcare facilities and may require working in various weather conditions while transporting equipment and supplies.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent walking bending stooping and turning.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely transport and set up mobile medical equipment.
