Compensation:

Traveler: $62-$66/hr ($2480-$2640/week)
Local: $52-$56/hr ($2080-$2240/week)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a healthcare team in Avon Indiana. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures operate specialized imaging equipment and provide high-quality patient care while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

This role requires strong technical expertise excellent patient care skills and experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations in a hospital setting.

Schedule
  • Shift: Day Shift (4x10-Hour Schedule)
  • Hours: 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
  • Days: Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and ensure image quality.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care and support.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
  • Assist with quality assurance activities and equipment maintenance.
  • Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and workflow management.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
Licensure & Certifications
  • Current Indiana Nuclear Medicine License required.
  • CNMT or NMTCB Certification required.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required.
  • First-time travelers accepted.
  • Community hospital experience required.
  • Cerner experience required.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and imaging protocols.
  • Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations.
  • Excellent patient assessment and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
