Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac stress tests and imaging studies
- Prepare administer and document radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety standards
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
- Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during procedures
- Review images for quality and accuracy before physician interpretation
- Follow all radiation safety infection control and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists nurses and clinical staff
Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required
- Active state license (if applicable)
- Prior experience in cardiac or nuclear medicine imaging preferred
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
