We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Herrin Illinois. This role is ideal for an experienced imaging professional with a background in nuclear medicine who can perform diagnostic imaging procedures provide exceptional patient care and support a busy hospital imaging department.
Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols
Prepare patients for imaging exams while ensuring comfort safety and accurate positioning
Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and maintain high-quality diagnostic imaging standards
Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare staff to deliver timely patient care
Participate in the required on-call rotation and maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC
Requirements
Active State License Required
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
Medical imaging background with Nuclear Medicine experience required (Lab Tech experience alone will not qualify)
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
