Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an exciting opportunity in Waimea HI.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for Nuclear Medicine procedures and diagnostic studies
• Perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine scans in accordance with established standards and protocols
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
• Monitor maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
• Ensure cleanliness organization and safety of the imaging department
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists physicians and healthcare staff
• Participate in teaching and instructional activities when applicable
• Provide patient care appropriate to all age groups and developmental levels
• Follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols at all times

Requirements

• Current Hawaii Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required
• Current BLS/HCP certification required
• One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of nuclear medicine physics and radiopharmaceutical administration
• Understanding of radiation safety procedures and imaging protocols
• Experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a single-tech environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
