About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a growing cardiovascular clinic in Colorado Springs. This role is focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that directly supports patient care and outcomes in a fast-paced patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare administer and measure radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under physician direction
  • Perform SPECT and PET imaging for cardiac and diagnostic studies
  • Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment and ensure proper calibration
  • Conduct cardiac imaging procedures to identify and assess abnormalities
  • Take patient histories explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Calculate measure and document radiopharmaceutical doses accurately
  • Perform quality control checks and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
  • Safely handle store and dispose of radioactive materials
  • Maintain accurate records and support departmental accreditation requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Current certification and licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N)
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols
  • Experience with SPECT and PET imaging preferred especially in cardiac applications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a cardiology or outpatient clinical setting
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and imaging equipment maintenance
  • Strong ability to work in a collaborative patient-focused environment
