Job Summary

Job Description:

DW Sisters LLC is placing a Travel Nuclear Medicine Technician with Trinity Health in Athens Georgia. This is a specialized contract position requiring active NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification and hands-on radio pharmaceutical handling experience.

Shift Details: Athens GA 30606 7:00 AM 3:30 PM MondayFriday 40 Hours/Week Department: Nuclear Medicine

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate gamma cameras to detect and map radioactive drugs and create diagnostic images
  • Order prepare administer and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per established protocols
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately
  • Follow all radiation safety procedures and regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure prompt high-quality PACS image submission with correct lead markers and patient data
  • Monitor equipment functioning and apply lockout/tagout procedures as appropriate
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department


Requirements

Requirements: NMTCB certification OR ARRT (N) certification active and in good standing (required) 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience Radiopharmaceutical handling experience (ordering prep admin disposal) Gamma camera and PACS imaging proficiency Working knowledge of radiation safety regulations Georgia state licensure or ability to obtain quickly Travel nuclear medicine tech experience preferred

Preferred: PET/CT imaging experience Hot lab operations and radiopharmacy protocol experience Multi-modality imaging (SPECT PET)
