Nuclear Medicine Tech - PET/CT - Traveler (Days) Position Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures. The technologist works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide quality imaging in support of the Radiologist. Responsibilities include processing and transmitting images to PACS. The role requires working knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and a strong foundation in anatomy and medical terminology. This is a traveler assignment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in support of the Radiologist
- Provide quality imaging while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Process and transmit images to PACS
- Current state Nuclear Medicine Technology license
- ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Graduate of a JRCNMT- or CAMRT-accredited program
- Current BCLS
- Minimum one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist
- Minimum one year of acute clinical radiology experience
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficient computer skills
- 7:00am - 3:00pm (Days)
