The role of District Sales Manager (DSM) includes but is not limited to executing on the product group and enterprise-wide strategy within the assigned territory in order to maximize Nucors profitability through collaboration with Sales Production and Technical personnel. This position requires extensive travel on a weekly basis and permanent relocation to the territory in order to take care of Nucor customers.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Four-year Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Technical or related field
- 3 years of outside sales experience or successful completion of Nucors DDSM program
- Special Bar Quality and Rod Experience
- Steelmaking Experience
