PATIENT INFORMATION
Patient Demographics: Adult
Patient Volume/Census: Up to 10 notes per day; phone coverage for all inpatients
Rounding: Included
Case Mix: Cardiac surgery ICU and step-down patients; critical care / cardiology-focused cases
FACILITY INFORMATION
EMR System: Epic
Specialty Backup Available: Supervising physician and critical care physicians
Reason for Coverage: Supplemental

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Central line placement
Arterial line placement
Chest tube placement and removal

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active NY License
Board: AANP Certification
Certifications: ACLS
Experience: ICU/critical care experience required (cardiac ICU preferred); no new grads
Other Qualifications: EPIC experience required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide inpatient care for cardiac surgery ICU and step-down patients
Perform daily rounding and documentation
Manage patient care plans in collaboration with supervising and critical care physicians
Perform bedside procedures as required
Provide phone coverage and coordinate care for all inpatients
