What Youll Be Doing:

• Responsible for the day-to-day functions of Logistics or Value Add department(s) ensuring goals are met or exceeded.

• Supervise day to day operation of a single department (receiving storing picking shipping special handling) within the distribution/value add center consisting of non-exempt tactical personnel.

• With specific direction from management and HR participates in staffing terminations disciplinary counseling performance management and development in conjunction with facility management. Typically will need to elevate complex issues.

• Report and track department metrics responding to internal customer inquiries. May need to elevate or work in conjunction with facility management to resolve complex issues.

• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.

• Resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist.

• Other duties as assigned.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid: Tuesday Wednesday Thursdayrequiredoffice days for Phoenix East Sky Harbor officesite;Monday Friday-work from home.

Were Looking For:

• Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 6-years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

• Engineering or technical degree.

• Experience with NPI projects.

• Works independently; receives minimal guidance.

• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes.

• Often leads the work of project teams; may formally train junior staff.

• Works and helps lead engineers.

• Understands engineering processes.

• Understands business processes.

• Nice to haves: Green Belt Certification Project Management Professional Certification
