NP (Nurse Practitioner) Psychiatry

This is a full-time on-site position that offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality mental health care within a supportive environment.

As a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry you will play a vital role in assessing and managing patients psychological and emotional well-being. Your expertise will contribute to developing personalized treatment plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop implement and monitor treatment plans
• Provide psychotherapy and medication management
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions
• Stay updated on advancements in psychiatric nursing practice
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice

• Associate degree in nursing; Bachelors degree preferred
• Current NP licensure in the state of practice
• Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in electronic health record systems
• Experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting is a plus

Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts per week

No call

Setting: Outpatient

Daily Census: 15-20 patients

Patient Population: Children and/or adults

EMR: AthenaHealth

Board certification required

Preferred Experience: 1 year
