Job Summary

Bring your passion for special education into a classroom where every students success matters. Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a certified 4th and 5th Grade Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year.

This role offers the opportunity to inspire learners adapt instruction to meet diverse educational needs and help students build confidence both inside and outside the classroom. Youll work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to fostering academic growth and meaningful student achievement.

In this role you will provide specialized instruction tailored to each students individual educational goals while designing engaging lessons that promote participation confidence and academic growth. You will collaborate closely with teachers families and support staff to ensure students receive the resources and guidance they need to succeed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate IEP documentation monitoring student progress and fostering a structured inclusive classroom environment where every learner feels supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Requirements

A bachelors degree in Special Education or a closely related field is required; a masters degree is considered an asset. Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in a school setting is preferred. Applicants must also hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement.
