Noon Supervisor

LOCATION: Shettler Elementary 2187 Shettler Rd. Muskegon MI 49444

POSITION: Noon Supervisor

HOURS: Monday-Friday Student Days Only

3 hours per day 15 hours per week

11:45 am to 2:45 pm

Option to pick up additional hours for breakfast/lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience with elementary students is preferred.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Supervise drop-off routine: manage student behaviors breakfast in the cafeteria drop-off lane and playground.
• Supervise lunch: manage student behaviors wash tables dismiss students to recess etc.
• Supervise recess: manage student behaviors actively patrol the playground dismiss students to line spots etc.
• Proactively build student relationships to mitigate student behaviors.
• Hold students accountable to our STAR values/expectations.
• Use school-wide incentives to acknowledge positive student behavior (STAR Tickets).
• Subjectively respond to and record student misbehavior.
• Assist students with minor first aid.
• Work outside in winter conditions.
• Other duties as assigned by the school administration.
