Required Qualifications
Specific educational requirements vary by position but a minimum of a masters degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required. PhD DHA OBA DrPH MHA MBA MPH and other degrees considered. Healthcare management or long-term care administration experience may substitute for this prior graduate teaching requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
FACHE CHFP FHFMA CMPE FACMPE FACHCA or other relevant certification based on professional curriculum teaching assignment. A masters degree doctorate/PhD from an AACSB CePH or CAHME accredited program is also preferred.
