Non-Rep ELL Family and Student Liaison

JOB TERMS:

The ELL Family and Student Liaison will partner with families of English learners to strengthen and support the connection between school and families. This involves building relationships with families and students creating connections as well as advocacy. At the secondary level a partnership with high school counselors students and families is needed to build an understanding of graduation requirements with the goal of college and career readiness. The Liaison will connect families with a variety of resources in the school and surrounding community that will assist in the engagement of students and families with the school community.

EDUCATION/LICENSE/PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trained on the role of interpreter and translator
• Valid Washington State Drivers License

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Start: ASAP

Work Hours/Days: 8 hours/190 days during fiscal year
