Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 sub-specialty services. The physicians and APPs provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourNon-Invasive Cardiologistyou will leverage your board certification/eligibility in cardiology to contribute to an esteemed academic group model shaping the future of cardiovascular medicine. This pivotal role within Dignity Health Cardiovascular Services at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center offers the unique opportunity to integrateclinical excellencewithmedical education becoming a valued faculty member affiliated with Creighton SOM. You will champion the development of future cardiac specialists engaging in robustfellowship training and fostering scholarly inquiry through encouragedclinical research opportunitieswithin a supportive environment.

Every day you will split your expertise between comprehensiveinpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations managing a diverse patient panel from a single conveniently located campus clinic. Youll collaborate with a dedicated full support staff accessing advanced cardiovascular services that spanstructural and interventional cardiology. Your commitment to patient care and academic advancement will directly impact a rapidly expanding community allowing for an exceptionalwork-life balancein a dynamic urban setting.

To be successful in this role you will possess a strong foundation innon-invasive cardiology demonstrating a profound passion for both clinical practice and teaching at an academic health center. Ideal candidates will showcase excellent communication skills a proactive approach tointerdisciplinary collaboration and a commitment to advancing cardiovascular care through innovation and evidence-based medicine. Your ability to inspire and mentor the next generation of cardiologists coupled with a desire to contribute to a thriving and growing program will be paramount.

Job Requirements

  • MD/DO Degree
  • Cardiovascular Disease (Board Certified/Board Eligible)
  • Echocardiography (BC/BE)
  • Nuclear experience preferred
  • Academic experience in teaching residents and/or cardiology fellows preferred
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
  • Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position
  • Advanced cardiac imaging is desirable but not required
