- 40 hours per week
- This position will work onsite at UND Grand Forks ND campus
The Department of Aviation at the University of North Dakota seeks qualified applicants for a 12-month non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Instructor.
- The successful candidates responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Teaching various aviation courses at the standard Instructor teaching load at the undergraduate level.
- Teaching various aviation flight courses safety courses etc.
- Mentoring students on academic and career aspirations.
- Serving on departmental college and university committees as assigned. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
- Ability to teach and develop a broad array of aviation courses at the undergraduate level.
- Bachelors Degree in an aviation related field and 2 years of professional aviation experience.
- Hold a current FAA CFI CFII and MEI certificate.
- At least one year of experience providing flight and classroom instruction in an FAA 14 CFR 141 flight training program or equivalent training experience working at an FAA 121 air carrier.
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

- Evidence of established record of successful collegiate-level classroom teaching in aviation.
