Zūm is calling for talent to join our team of passionate people who are transforming student transportation. As a Non-CDL Van Driver at Zūm you will safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities while ensuring a positive and secure environment. This is a safety-sensitive position because you are responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle transporting students and any impairment could create a significant risk of harm. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working with students and want to make a positive impact in their community.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Ensure student safety during boarding transit and exiting the vehicle
• Manage student behavior and maintain a positive environment in the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with students parents and school staff

Requirements:

• This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position
• Minimum age: 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• For Certified Non-CDL Van Drivers:Valid IL drivers license clean driving record 3years of driving experience& ILFirst Division School Bus Driver Permit (NonCDL)
• For Non-Certified Non-CDL Van Drivers: Valid IL drivers license clean driving record &3years of driving experience
• Willing to obtain the First Division School Bus Driver Permit (Non-CDL) - state requirements with training provided
• Ability to pass background check and drug test
• Physical ability to assist students and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
