Job Summary
A Day in the Life: As a Non-CDL Driver you play an essential role in the safe and timely transport of goods within company property and to designated delivery locations. This position involves operating company vehicles loading and unloading products verifying delivery accuracy and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will follow assigned delivery schedules perform equipment inspections and communicate effectively with team members and customers. While working independently or as part of a delivery team you are expected to uphold safety standards maintain documentation and contribute to efficient operations.
What You Bring to the Table
Driving and Delivery Execution
Operates company vehicles to transport goods according to assigned schedules
Follows traffic laws and delivery protocols while maintaining professional conduct
Completes deliveries accurately and efficiently ensuring product integrity
Operational Awareness and Safety Practices
Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports any safety or mechanical concerns
Adheres to internal safety procedures and applicable regulations
Maintains a clean and organized vehicle and work area
Physical Capability and Equipment Handling
Loads and unloads products and equipment including items weighing up to 100 pounds
Performs physical tasks such as standing walking bending crouching stooping reaching stretching stepping climbing and sitting throughout the shift
Uses equipment such as pallet jacks hand trucks and mobile scanning tools appropriately
Team Engagement and Communication
Communicates clearly with team members supervisors and customers
Maintains accurate delivery records and documentation
Responds to supervisory feedback and contributes to a respectful and goal-oriented work environment
Core Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds
Ability to perform physical tasks for the duration of the shift
Ability to follow delivery instructions safety protocols and operational procedures
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively within a team setting
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience in delivery or warehouse operations
Experience operating box vans bobtail trucks or similar vehicles
Familiarity with local routes and basic navigation
Proficiency in using mobile tracking or scanning tools
Ability to manage tasks with minimal oversight
