ICU Beds: 36 Dedicated ICU Beds

EMR System: Epic with MModal

Specialty Backup Available: Neurology Orthopedics General Surgery Cardiology Oncology Gastroenterology

Support Staff Available:

- Day Coverage: 10 Physicians and 3 PA/NPs

- Night Coverage: 2 Physicians and 1 PA/NP

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Unrestricted Mississippi Medical License

DEA: Active DEA with Mississippi Address and Schedules 2 2N 3 3N 4 and 5

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Certifications: ACLS Required

Education: Completion of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency

Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Recent Clinical Experience

Case Logs: Documentation for Previous 2 Years Required

CME: Proof of CME Activity for Previous 2 Years Required

Fellowship: Preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide overnight inpatient hospitalist coverage

Manage hospitalized adult patients

Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary care teams

Respond to codes and rapid response events

Provide support within an open ICU environment

Document patient care activities in Epic

Deliver high-quality inpatient care
