A Helpful Tech Person Right Where Staff Need One
Every school has those moments when the printer refuses to cooperate or a device needs attention. This role helps keep those moments from becoming bigger than they need to be. Sometimes machines need a little help before technology does what it is supposed to do.
The Site Technology Coordinator is a steady point of contact for technology needs at Nine Mile Falls Elementary. This person helps staff use building technology communicates updates supports basic troubleshooting and works with the district IT department when issues need to move beyond the building level. It is a practical role for someone who likes helping people and has patience when technology takes an unscheduled nap. Technology and machines do seem slower to start on Mondays and some appear to believe Fridays are half days. This role helps convince them otherwise.
