A Water and Wastewater Practice Leader at H2M architects engineersgrows develops supports and enhances our scope of Water and Wastewater services work in a Doer-Seller this role you will provide project management expertise business development client relationship management and coordination of key Water/Wastewater and Municipal services.A Practice Leader is responsible for strategically growing business development efforts along with supporting technical aspects of water/wastewater and municipal projects/ over 90 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering H2Ms water and wastewater team designs and implements drinking water treatment systems distribution networks wastewater treatment facilities pump stations and collection systems. We support water districts municipalities and regional authorities in meeting regulatory requirements and improving system reliability and environmental performance. Our work protects public health enhances sustainability and ensures essential services remain resilient for the communities that depend on ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of strategy for further development in the Water/Wastewater with the Market Leader and/or Discipline Director to implement a plan for growth of the market in existing and new service areas as well as new areas as highlighted in the annual business plan for the proficiency in establishing project-related fees and aggressive revenue projections and profit margins is to manage a team of closely with all disciplines to implement and manage projects that fall under the Water/Wastewater group and establish staffing needs achievable project schedules and meet established deliverable timelines and produce an excellent work product all while ensuring client satisfaction with overall where needed in the preparation of a detailed discipline plan and determine where potential funding opportunities may where needed with the marketing team to produce business plan materials pertinent to the the H2M standard procedures and processes are being utilized and trade shows client presentations and meetings develop articles blogs social media and press releases to help showcase H2M and the Water/Wastewater Group with a goal to promote H2Ms presence in the market and proposals in conjunction with the marketing and technical staff. Assist with Go/No Go decisions for responding to RFPs. Marshall the necessary resources on proposal opportunities which may involve developing a proposal strategy writing portions of the proposal and coordinating efforts of other technical writers to develop a winning and communicate with staff to ensure project deadlines and client requirements are being met and provide technical leadership and oversight on the management of project. Work with other managers and water/wastewater professionals to develop scope of work budgets and plans for water/wastewater related with the development efforts of the regional offices overall growth and development of the staff in the a sense of team with the staff you work alongside and your manager. This will typically involve spending a significant amount of time with the discipline staff getting to know them and their capabilities. May enlist key people within the firm to assist and drive important discipline-related for making sure we provide excellent customer service both internally and externally. Will respond to requests of others as needed and set up a communication protocol for existing and future clients to ensure their needs are met. This includes communication with department managers within the & Qualifications15 years experience in the business of consulting Water/Wastewater engineering for municipal private and public agency degree in mechanical environmental or chemical engineering.P.E. in New Jersey required with the ability to gain reciprocity in multiple states in which H2M knowledge of project management design construction operations and administration of Water/Wastewater infrastructure is required. A strong technical background is track record of performance for obtaining new clients and in creating new projects for existing salary range for this role is $140000 to $195000 annually.
