Overnight Security Officer Full Time

KRE Security LLC is hiring a Full-Time Overnight Security Officer for a permanent Monday through Friday 10:00 PM 7:00 AM schedule.

If youre looking for a consistent overnight position with no rotating shifts a dependable schedule and opportunities for advancement this is the job for you.

While this is a professional security position officers should be prepared for the occasional night shift regulars. The property is frequented by local wildlife that often appears to have a better schedule than most people.

The deer arrive around the same time.

They gather in groups.

They watch your every move.

Monday Friday
10:00 PM 6:00 AM

Full-Time
Permanent Schedule
No Rotating Shifts
Weekends Off

Responsibilities

Provide a professional security presence throughout the overnight shift.
Patrol the property and monitor buildings parking areas and access points.
Observe and report suspicious or unusual activity.
Respond appropriately to alarms emergencies and client requests.
Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports using Belfry Software.
Communicate effectively with supervisors clients and fellow officers.
Enforce all company and site-specific policies and procedures.

Overnight observations may occasionally include:

A group of deer holding what appears to be a very serious meeting near the fence line.
A raccoon conducting quality assurance inspections of the dumpster.
A fox passing through with absolutely no interest in your shift.
A possum demonstrating an impressive commitment to avoiding responsibility.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication and observation skills.
Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
Security military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
Must successfully pass a background check.

Bonus qualities include:

The ability to identify suspicious tail flicks.
Confidence walking toward a group of deer that clearly believes they were there first.
The professionalism to document Subjects dispersed upon officer presence without laughing.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $16.00/hour

Overtime paid for hours worked over 40 per week in accordance with applicable law.
Active military members and veterans receive an additional $0.25/hour.
Paid Time Off: 40 hours earned after successful completion of the probationary period.
Health benefits available to full-time employees (30 hours per week) after six months of regular employment.
Paid training.
