The role
Were looking for a Cashier to join our front-of-store team. Youll be the last person a customer sees before they walk out with 47 pounds of woven cotton and a dream. No pressure.
What youll do
- Scan items with speed accuracy and at least a baseline of enthusiasm
- Ask did you find everything okay and genuinely mean it sometimes
- Handle cash cards and the occasional customer who wants to pay entirely in quarters
- Pretend the receipt printer isnt jammed when it definitely is
- Wish customers a great day and mean it by the 3rd or 4th repetition
What were looking for
- 01 years of cashier experience or a strong personal history of buying things
- Comfort standing for extended periods (ironic given our product line)
- Ability to de-escalate a price-match dispute without making eye contact
- A working knowledge of the phrase I can call a manager

- Opinion on rope vs. fabric hammocks
