The role

Were looking for a Cashier to join our front-of-store team. Youll be the last person a customer sees before they walk out with 47 pounds of woven cotton and a dream. No pressure.

What youll do

• Scan items with speed accuracy and at least a baseline of enthusiasm
• Ask did you find everything okay and genuinely mean it sometimes
• Handle cash cards and the occasional customer who wants to pay entirely in quarters
• Pretend the receipt printer isnt jammed when it definitely is
• Wish customers a great day and mean it by the 3rd or 4th repetition

What were looking for

• 01 years of cashier experience or a strong personal history of buying things
• Comfort standing for extended periods (ironic given our product line)
• Ability to de-escalate a price-match dispute without making eye contact
• A working knowledge of the phrase I can call a manager

• Opinion on rope vs. fabric hammocks
• Proficiency with a handheld scanner
