Night Shift Inbound QCFloor Coordinator

Location: Bolingbrook IL
Schedule: Monday Friday 4:00 PM/4:30 PM 12:30 AM
Pay: $22.00 $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a reliable detail-oriented Night Shift Inbound QC/Floor Coordinator to support our warehouse operations during inbound container unloading. This role is responsible for monitoring unloading processes documenting shipment information identifying exceptions or damages maintaining accurate records and ensuring freight is properly organized throughout the warehouse.

The ideal candidate is dependable observant comfortable working on the warehouse floor and able to maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.

• Take photos before and after each container is unloaded.
• Record container numbers dock door assignments unloading start times and final pallet counts.
• Verify pallet counts during unloading operations.
• Identify document and report:
  • Freight damage
  • Oversized cargo
  • Mixed cargo
  • Labeling issues
  • Other shipment exceptions
• Measure cargo dimensions when required.
• Communicate unloading information and exception details to the data entry clerk.
• Ensure unloaded pallets are placed in the correct warehouse locations.
• Label separate and organize remaining pallets after loading activities.
• Organize empty pallets and designated damaged pallets.
• Move pending exception or problem freight to the designated Hold Area.
• Assist with warehouse floor cleanup before the end of each shift.
• Report unfinished tasks and operational issues to the Night Shift Supervisor.
• Assist with completion of the night shift handoff documentation.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse logistics inventory control quality control or freight handling experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately record information and maintain simple documentation.
• Ability to read and understand basic English labels and shipping information.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile device to take and organize photos.
• Ability to walk the warehouse floor for extended periods and work in a physically active environment.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
