Horne Kia in Gilbert is hiring Automotive Technicians and Used Car Reconditioning Technicians for our evening reconditioning team.

Our night shift runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM1:00 AM giving technicians a focused environment to turn hours stay productive and keep Saturdays and Sundays OFF.

We are open to multiple experience levels from Lube and General Service Technicians ready to advance to experienced A/B Level and Master Technicians looking for a high-volume operation.

As an Automotive Reconditioning Technician you will inspect diagnose repair and prepare used vehicles for retail.

Responsibilities may include:

• Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
  
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
  
• Perform engine and drivability repairs
  
• Brake system repairs
  
• Steering and suspension repairs
  
• Heating and air-conditioning repairs
  
• Electrical diagnostics and repairs
  
• Preventative maintenance
  
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools
  
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
  
• Test-drive vehicles as necessary to verify repairs
  
• Communicate repair needs and estimated completion times
  
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
  

• Minimum 1 year automotive technician experience required
  
• 2 years automotive technician experience preferred
  
• Dealership experience is a plus but NOT required
  
• Independent repair shop technicians are encouraged to apply
  
• Used car reconditioning experience is a plus
  
• ASE Certifications preferred but not required
  
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  
• Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
  
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
  
• Team-oriented attitude
  
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
