Night Porter/F&B Assistant

The Flodigarry Hotel are looking for a Night Porter/General Assistant to join their team. The role will involve covering the Night Porter during holiday periods and to also work in the Bar/Restaurant.

The Flodigarry Hotel is a small family run hotel situated in the small village of Flodigarry on the Isle of Skye. The Hotel is surrounded by private grounds all of which looks out to one of the most breath-taking views Scotland has to offer.

Responsibilities:

• Food and Beverage taking orders greeting guests running food/drink cash handling clearing and setting tables bartending
• Night Porter (additional pay for night shifts) Checking guests in/out setting up for breakfast general cleaning of hotel communal areas hotel security

Skills/Qualities Required:

• Experience is preferred although not essential as full training will be provided
• Passion and a genuine interest in hospitality
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Comfortable working days and nights
• Guest focused
• Great attention to detail
• Strong communication
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
• Confident working independently
• Ability to follow instructions
