Job Summary
Our client is the prime of a sole source contract. They are seeking an experienced NiFi Engineer to build manage and optimize complex data flows and pipelines. This role involves design developing cluster administration data integration and troubleshooting.
Qualified candidates will have:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering systems engineering or software development focusing on data pipelines.
- In-depth hands-on experience with Apache NiFi.
- Experience with NiFi Registry Linux/Unix CLI and scripting in Python Bash or Java.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases big data tools (Spark Hadoop Elasticsearch) and cloud services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI FS Poly required.
This work is 100% onsite in Ashburn-VA. It requires an active TS/SCI FS Poly government addition to strong salaries they provide 100% employer paid Medical and Dental insurance as well as provide an HRA to cover deductibles. They offer 4 weeks PTO 10 federal holidays and a 3% 401K with the potential for up to 10% matching.
