NICU- Assistant Nurse Manager
Job Summary
- Support daily operations and leadership within a Level III NICU environment
- Coordinate patient care and help ensure safe high-quality outcomes for critically ill and premature infants
- Foster staff development coaching engagement and career growth within the unit
- Help drive performance improvement operational efficiency and quality initiatives
- Promote an inclusive supportive and professional work environment
- Partner with nursing leadership to support staffing workflows and unit priorities
- Serve as a leadership resource for nurses patients and families

- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree of Science in Nursing required
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse license required
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association required
- Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer into the position
- NICU nursing experience and demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to work on site in Fresno California
- Strong communication collaboration and staff development skills
- Experience in a Level III or high-acuity NICU setting
- Prior charge nurse supervisor assistant manager or formal nursing leadership experience
- Passion for developing nurses and strengthening unit culture
- Interest in quality improvement patient safety and operational excellence
- Ability to balance clinical urgency with calm supportive leadership

Required Skills:
