Job Summary/Description:

FOX5 KVVU Las Vegas is looking for an experienced fully bilingual (Spanish) digital reporter to join the #1 broadcast and digital news team in Las Vegas. This team member will have a digital-first mindset and be equipped with the skill set to push accurate story coverage forward for online and on-air.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Generate strong story ideas and produce /report those stories for on-air and on digital channels including FOX5 and .
- Must be experienced in handling breaking news live field coverage as needed.
- Proficiency in writing and speaking both English and Spanish is a necessity for this role.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum three years of experience as a reporter/digial reporting in a TV/Print Newsroom.
- Fully bilingual in English AND Spanish is required. Must be able to report on air and online in both English and Spanish.
- Proven demonstrated ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that support the FOX5 Local Las Vegas and brands.
- Background must include at minimum a bachelors degree in broadcast/digital journalism or the equivalent.
