Write clear engaging push notifications on breaking news. Compose first draft for the Top Stories section of a daily newsletter sent every morning at 7am ET. Lead app coverage independently every Saturday and Sunday night. Assist international teams on major global events including in the UK Australia and Canada. Collaborate across teams for special event coverage (e.g. Super Bowl national and local elections award shows etc.). Work with standards team to ensure copy meets all aspects of house style. Use data and analytics to optimize content. Communicate directly with dozens of publishing partners. Report bugs and performance issues to improve app functionality. Telecommuting permitted. 40 hours/week. At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $130700 - $197000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location. nnPAY u0026 BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Journalism or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related and/or education must include:nnDemonstrating strong editorial judgement across disciplines including international news politics finance and concise engaging copy for headlines notifications and objective transparent nonpartisan journalistic -checking misinformation in a breaking news user engagement to help inform coverage strategies around major content management systems and publishing platforms to reach new and existing across teams including with engineers and analytics experts to address urgent performance issues with the app.
