Duties:
Process faculty textbook requests including researching title price and availability information. Place print textbook orders with publishers and track orders through fulfillment. Research and resolve order and receiving discrepancies including shortages damages and issues identified by the Receiving Department. Assist with reconciliation of unpaid invoices and credit memos. Communicate with publishers vendors and internal department staff as needed to support textbook ordering and receiving operations. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
Prior office or customer service experience highly recommended. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook. Strong organizational and communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail required. Ability to work independently. Must be able to work the full academic term break period optional and maintain flexibility to accommodate peak departmental periods. Must be available to work weekday mornings in alignment with East Coast publisher business hours.
