This position involves documenting processes reporting on project statuses and performing various tactical tasks to ensure successful product deployment. Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesSuccessful reporting and visibility of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in the factoryContribute to factory NPI continuous improvement initiativesProcessing of Product Improvement documents from engineering for Component changeCoordinating / Determining whether parts are Bought-in or Made In house Issuing of Purchase Requisitions or Up-issue component documents Updating / Setting of SAP MRP ProfilesAgreeing and setting cut-in dates and phase out dates for Obsolete to Production (OTP) materialLiaising with Quality to ensure Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) / Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) has been completed prior to cut-inLiaising with Manufacturing Engineering Purchasing NPI Controller Sales code Administrators and material planners over a phase in and out of componentsMonitoring PIs in process recording Serial numbers of PIs cut-in for Service administrationCoordinating Fit and Functions to validate the engineering change is designed for manufacture and suitable for cut-inCoordinating with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure SAP workflows are completed regarding any Capital investment Work Routing SOPS and Line Balance documents prior to cut-inOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsAssociate Degree in Engineering Business or related field Strong written and verbal skills with ability to communicate effectively across different levels in the organizationProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. SharePoint Excel Word PowerPoint Project) and able to quickly learn other software programsUnderstanding of manufacturing processes analytical and data -motivated highly engaged flexible and receptive to changeTeam-oriented demonstrating ability to influence and collaborate with othersPrevious manufacturing and/or industrial engineering experienceMust be open to domestic and international travelMust pass any drug screens background checks and any pre-employment tests which will be conducted in accordance with applicable QualificationsBachelors DegreeAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to manufacturing equipmentKnowledge Skills Abilities & CompetenciesPrevious experience of working in an SAP environment would be preferableProficient in Microsoft Office software Technical competence is a plusDesire and proven ability to learn and growJob ConditionsBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory to noise and temperature RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those required of an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
