Neurointerventional Radiologist

As our Neurointerventional Radiologist you will diagnose and treat complex vascular diseases of the brain spine and central nervous system using cutting-edge minimally invasive image-guided techniques. You will play a critical often life-saving role within our stroke center providing 24-hour call coverage for emergent neurological conditions.

To meet the specific clinical requirements of our practice we are seeking candidates with Neuroradiology-trained endovascular specialization. A core requirement of this role is dual proficiency in both neurointerventional endovascular procedures and spine interventional techniques. Applicants must possess documented experience in performing spinal interventions including but not limited to: epidural injections nerve root blocks facet injections and lumbar drains.

Every day you will perform intricate endovascular procedures for acute strokes cerebral aneurysms AVMs and other vascular pathologies leveraging advanced imaging to guide precise interventions. Your work directly impacts neurological outcomes supported by robust organizational resources that enable you to focus on high-stakes patient care.

To be successful you will be a board-certified physician with fellowship training in Neuroradiology and Neurointerventional Radiology. You will possess exceptional manual dexterity rapid critical thinking and the resilience to excel in fast-paced high-pressure environments while upholding the highest ethical and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform minimally invasive image-guided endovascular procedures for brain spine and CNS vascular diseases (e.g. strokes aneurysms AVMs carotid disease).
• Perform spine interventional procedures including epidural injections root blocks facet injections and lumbar drains.
• Provide critical 24-hour call coverage for acute neurological emergencies within our stroke center.
• Utilize advanced imaging (neuroangiography CT MRI) to precisely guide complex interventions.
• Administer comprehensive patient care from pre-procedure evaluation through post-procedure management and critical care.
• Adhere to AMA medical ethics and relevant specialty board standards.
• Leverage our Physician Groups comprehensive resources (supply chain tech trainers credentialing etc.) to optimize physician efficiency and focus on patient care.

• Doctorate MD or DO required.
• Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
• Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration;
• Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty by a board acceptable to Hospital;
• Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system at sponsoring institution.
• DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required.
• Strong critical thinking manual dexterity and ability to work in high-stress fast-paced emergency environments.
