THE ROLE

Our client a comprehensive not-for-profit medical centre is recruiting a full-time permanent Neurodiagnostic Technologist II based in Portland OR. The position sits within a nationally recognised neurosciences programme and is responsible for performing both routine and complex electroencephalographic and neurodiagnostic procedures. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary care team committed to patient-focused whole-person care. A sign-on bonus of $8000 is available for eligible external candidates who meet all payment conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine and complex EEG procedures including evoked potentials intra-operative monitoring EMU monitoring continuous EEG (cEEG) and ambulatory video EEG

Monitor placement of sphenoidal grid depth and strip electrodes

Assist with WADA testing and cortical stimulation procedures

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of neurodiagnostic findings

Adhere to facility infection control protocols regulatory compliance standards and quality care initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

National Certification from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) - required upon hire

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association - required upon hire

Minimum 1 year of full-time neurodiagnostic experience

Bachelors Degree (minimum education)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Documented training in evoked potentials and intra-operative monitoring
