Following a major expansion Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valleys capacity tripled now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician (EEG Tech) you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) tests
Your primary Neurodiagnostic Technologist duties will involve:
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist (EEG Tech) performs procedures according to facility policy and procedures.
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist can perform test set up electrode application and maintain patient safety during clinically significant events and other related duties.
Communication skills are essential for this position
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS issued from the American Heart Association
- 6 months experience working in patient care environment required
- EEG experience and or education highly preferred
- Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied
- Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
