Job Summary
The Physician Assistant (PA) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Masters degree Physician Assistant required.
The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
The PAs duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
NEUROSURGERY NEUROCRITICAL CARE

Position Details:
- Full time; Days & Nights 12-hour shifts rotating weekdays/weekends
- Consults & Follow ups for Neurosurgery ICU patients plus inpatient rounding management of Neurosurgery patients as part of the Neurocritical Care Team

- Provide expert neurological care and innovative techniques to find the best solution for each patient with diverse disorders that attack the brain or spine
- Will support our neurosurgical on-call team as part of our Neurocritical Care Group
Requirements Needed to Apply:
- Active Texas license
- Physician Assistant Board Certification
- Experience in critical care or neurosurgery area; ICU & CCU required.
- Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program
- Interest and experience as a Neurocritical Care APP are highly encouraged to apply
